New to our Church?
Thank you for your interest in Immanuel Lutheran Church. As a church that has been established in Danbury for over a century, we have so many things to offer, but we understand that as a guest, it might be a little overwhelming. This page here is for you, to simplify what we have to offer, and what you will find when you walk through our doors for the first time.
How long is the service?
The service usually lasts about an hour. On occasion, when there is a special event such as a school concert, or a special mission, it can run a little longer, but no more than an additional fifteen minutes.
What is the dress code?
Immanuel does not have a dress code. Our members wear anything from three piece suits to jeans. For your first visit, please feel free to dress however you feel appropriate, and once you are here, you will see that you made the right choice.
What does it sound like?
Our services lean towards traditional worship. We are fortunate to have a number of musically talented members, and we have soloists and instrumentalists share their gifts in our worship services.
What about the children?
Children are welcome in our church. Children are more than welcome in our church. We have a school that goes from Pre-K 3 through 8th grade, and we are always encouraging our school families to join our church families. There is a small quiet room at the back of the Sanctuary for any short break that may be needed.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our church office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to meeting you.
